I've Been Playing

This is my second beading sample. I'm starting on the beaded doll now. I'm not sure what design I'll do on her yet. I like the colours in this beading sample so I might use them again unless some other idea pops up.

I've been playing around with my blog today. I still have some playing to do. I kinda like the 3 column look as 2 columns can get abit crowded. The background is a freebie by Itkupilli I think she is very kind to give these for free as well as all the information that she shares on her blog.

I'm not sure if I will keep the blog header or change it. Also I'm going to do some rearranging of all the sidebar icons and maybe delete some that aren't necessary. I'd like to be able to create my own blog background but I'm not that clever yet. I think I saw something on Itkupilli's website which mentioned how to do this - I might have to go and have another look.

I like your blog header but is it possible that i liked it better earlier today? it looks a little too wide stretched now. The embroidery and the shisha mirrors are nice. K.

Hi Kaite, Yes I've been fiddling around with the header and it was overstretched. It did look terrible didn't it. I only really realised it when I got your comment and I went back into it today. I've gone back to the previous one for the moment. I'm going to make a header that fits properly when I get a chance. I'll just use this one until I can get a chance to do it. I think this blog background works better too. It's similar to the other one but the side colours are more neutral now. Barb

The new look is great.....I'll bookmark her link for when I'm ready for a face lift.
Your beading projects are wonderful...can't wait to see your doll creation.

Lovely bead work! I admire this kind of intricate work because I'm not sure I have the patience or hand skills to attempt it. But you certainly do! I also enjoyed exploring your blog.

I like the new look Barb, and I'm still looking forward to seeing that doll. The bead design is lovely.

Thank you Chris, Darlene, Pat and Jools for your comments. Sorry Its taken me so long to respond. Things have been getting abit away from me at the moment, but I seem to be getting on top of things again. The doll is still coming along - I'm a slow worker at times. I've got abit sidetracked and I've been doing abit of embroidery on the side. Will post some pictures very soon. Have a good weekend. Barb
