Before I start I'll apologise for the terrible photo. I have so much trouble trying to photograph my work.
This is my February Bead Journal finished. I finished it a few weeks ago but couldn't take any decent photos of it. This is the best of a bad bunch. If I can get a better photo at some stage, I'll replace it.
Also one other thing I should point out is that I ran out of the larger gold beads that are around the edging, so that's why there are only the gold seed beads in the left hand corner. I couldn't find them anywhere, so if I ever do I'll redo that corner.
I've started my next bead journal. This one has a Spring theme and is actually the September one. I still have some other months that I need to go back and do.

Oh, I love this! I just love the beading on the skirt (belt area and below).
There is so much about this piece that I like, starting with the colors. I'm not good with color, so it really gets my attention when others step outside *my color box* and it works so well. Then I noticed the swirls, everywhere swirling, curvy lines and they are my favorite. No matter how hard I try to do angular pieces, I never like them as much as when I just let myself go and end up with swirls. This one has so many from the lines of the figure to the lines in the background. I love the filigree embellishment, and oh, please, dont redo the corner border when you get more of those beads. I think having it's perfect!
The photo that you have does this piece justice! IT is a beautiful piece, with lots of energy, color, and movement.
Looks great to me too. You must have endless patience Barbara...all those swirling beads.
I think it's lovely. You don't need to change a thing. (And what's wrong with the photo? It looks good to me.)

Please don't apologize! This is perfect. Just declare it as intentional, and everyone will accept that. You are the artist!
