I live in NSW, Australia. I love exploring textile arts. I enjoy making art quilts incorporating beading and contemporary embroidery. I also like dabbling in painting and Mixed Media collage. I love colour. I'm inspired by nature, music and locations like India, Nepal, Bali, Thailand, Morocco and South America. I love meeting people from all over the world, so thank you for dropping by to read my blog.
Beaded Art Doll Finished and Final Day to Register for the 2010 Bead Journal Project
I've finally finished the Beaded Art Doll from the online Joggles class I did awhile ago.
Also if you are interested today is the last day to register for the Bead Journal Project for 2010. I would love to join but not sure if I could keep the commitment.
Congratulations Barb! I really like the effect of the green beads, like a stem in the centre, and the choice of colours you've used. You've done a great job!
Come on Barb, join up. You can just do a small one, and you know, it doesn't have to be bead encrusted. Robin says something like "a few beads". Sure you could manage that each month. cheerio, Kaite from Bathurst.
Oooo, I really like your art doll! Love it actually. And thanks for the bead journal project info - I'm going to go check that out right now. It sounds fun and I could use a challenge right now.

Wow, your beading is fantastic, I love textile art too but can't see me doing such detailed beading anytime soon :)
